Measuring your Windows for Plantation Shutter Installation
Measuring your windows is simple: all we need is the width and height of each window (including the frame).
Look at the example diagrams below and measure each of your windows accordingly, regardless of whether it is a single window, bay window, bow-bay, box-bay, or French doors. All we need is the overall width of EACH opening (including the frame) and the height.
By giving us the dimensions this way, we GUARANTEE that your final quotation will be LOWER than the initial quote, due to our precise system of on-site surveying.
So all you need to get started - is a tape measure!

Bay Window Measuring Guide
If you have a Bay Window (see below) then measure the width of all windows (including the frames) and add them together. For example: if you have a 3-part Bay Window (Fig 1) add together A, B and C and this is your overall width. If you have 2 or 3 windows in a row, then just take the overall width of all the windows including the frame either side. We will only need one height measurement as all windows will be the same height.
Here are examples of various bay window types with the width points marked (A, B, etc). If you need help in measuring, then call our team on 0845 094 3056.
