Tilt-Rod Options for Plantation Shutters
Your shutters come with three tilt-rod (opening) options: centre, hidden, and offset.

Centre Tilt-Rod
The most popular is the conventional centre tilt-rod and gives the shutters a traditional look.
The tilt-rod is attached to each louvre independently using durable connectors. The connectors ensure even closure on all louvres.

Hidden Tilt-Rod
The hidden tilt-rod (HTR) is also a popular option. The ‘rod’ is attached once again to each louvre but is screwed into each louvre at the side and back of the louvres making it invisible.
Opening the louvers is simple: just open one with your hand and the whole line of louvres will move in unison. We offer the hidden tilt-rod option with 63, 89 and 114mm louvres.

Offset Tilt-Rod
The offset tilt-rod uses the same technique as the centre tilt-rod but is used mainly in single-panel applications (left-right) opening.
