Waste Disposal

Riverside shutters dispose of all our waste using our disposal partners Corey Environmental.

As your shutters are shipped long distances, there is a considerable amount of packaging that protects your shutters in transit. This includes polystyrene protection at all corners and strips inside the frame boxes.

As well as this, there is more cardboard that protects the panels. This is also protected using MDF sheets in front and behind each panel pack. All this packaging and protection material is separated by our fitters and taken to the environmental recycling plants.

100% Waste Recycling

We recycle 100% of our waste and even the styrene goes to make packaging styrene chips. There is a charge for this disposal but we do not pass this onto our customers as it's classified as a write-down for the company at the end of the tax year.
